Create a Room
Start by creating a digital representation of your physical space. A room can be a warehouse, a storage unit, an office, or even a specific corner of a room.
Tip: Give your room a descriptive name like "Archive Room A" or "North Warehouse".

Define Shelves or Rows
Within each room, you can define your shelving units. ShelveIt allows you to specify how many shelves are in a row and how many vertical levels each shelf has. This creates the "Physical Twin" grid where your items will live.

(Optional) Define Containers
If you store items inside larger containers—like boxes, bins, folders, or envelopes—you can define these in ShelveIt too. This helps you track exactly which box an item is in, even if multiple boxes are on the same shelf.
